TA AI is in a pre-release stage. This page explains what we collect today and the rules we will hold ourselves to when the TA extension and web app open for testing. If anything here changes, we will update this page and note the date above.
This website
ta-ai.net is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and has no forms. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The read-aloud demo uses your browser’s built-in voices and sends nothing to us.
Waitlist email
If you email hello@ta-ai.net, we keep your address and message only to reply to you and to invite you to testing. We do not sell or share it. Ask us at any time and we will delete it.
The TA extension and web app
When TA launches, these rules apply:
- Only the text you hover, select or ask about is sent for translation or explanation. TA does not upload whole files or repositories on its own.
- Your code and text are never used to train models, by us or by the model providers we use.
- Translation and reasoning run on third-party AI models such as Anthropic’s Claude, through their commercial APIs.
- Memory of your languages, projects and preferences is optional and can be turned off or erased at any time.
